Insurance
Clients that pay out of pocket have the benefit of privacy that insurance companies do not allow. Using your insurance for sessions requires me to share your mental health information, which can be used against you to limit coverage in the future. Often times insurance plans cover limited sessions as well and can get in the way of the natural progression of the therapeutic process. Therapy takes as long as it takes and is different for everybody. Confidentiality is of the utmost importance to me and to the integrity of our work so it is because of this reason that I do not accept insurance.
For those that are not concerned with this issue, I can offer a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible partial coverage.
Payment
I accept cash and all major credit cards as forms of payment. You can also pay directly on my site via this page.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
